Every Club and Society must hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once a year — this is where:

๐ณ๏ธ CLUB & SOCIETY CONSTITUTION
Every club and society is governed by the AUBSU Constitution and your own mini-constitution.

This outlines your charitable aims, membership rules, officer roles, and how you must run your AGM. It also confirms that clubs are expected to fund the majority of their activities through membership and fundraising, with AUBSU funding available via Student Council on an ad-hoc basis.
๐๏ธ CODE OF CONDUCT
All committee members must read and sign the AUBSU Clubs & Societies Code of Conduct. This ensures we:

Behave with integrity and inclusively

Represent AUBSU positively

Uphold health & safety responsibilities

Avoid activities like initiations or binge drinking
Required Action:

Any breach of the Code of Conduct could result in individual or club-level sanctions, up to and including referral to AUBSU’s Disciplinary Committee, the University, or the Police depending on severity.
๐ ELECTIONS TOOLKIT
Your AGM must include fair and democratic elections. The roles you must elect are:

Results reported to AUBSU

Returning Officer must be impartial and not standing for a role

๐ฐ FUNDING APPLICATIONS
AUBSU provides funding to help you run great events, buy equipment, and support members. However, all clubs and societies are expected to primarily fund their activities through membership income and fundraising.
Application Checklist:
