Arts University Bournemouth Students’ Union (AUBSU) is a registered charity and the official students’ union for over 4,000 students at Arts University Bournemouth — one of the UK’s leading creative institutions.
We exist to:

Represent and amplify the voice of students

Champion equality, inclusion and wellbeing

Support student-led activity, community, and development

Deliver strategic change in partnership with the University and wider society
We focus on three key strands of student life:

Student Work (academic representation)

Our Board
AUBSU is governed by a Board of Trustees who are legally responsible for the Students’ Union’s activities, finances, and strategy. Our Board includes:

1 University Governing Body Nominee

2 Sabbatical (Full-Time) Officers (including the President)
The Board meets six times annually, oversees sub-committees (including Finance, Risk, and Impact), and plays a key role in shaping our direction as a charity.
