Calling all creatives!
We’re looking for artwork for a brand-new project.
Here at AUBSU, we love spreading kindness, which is why we’ve launched Positive Post, a wellbeing initiative where students can send and receive uplifting postcards. Then we'll send out the postcards to anyone who wants one! If you send in a design, you’ll receive a different postcard back. We want to feature a variety of student artwork on our postcards, so whether you’re into digital drawing, typography, embroidery, or something else, we’re eager to see your designs.
Artwork donations for Term 3's box are now open!
Get involved by emailing your artwork to studentunion@aub.ac.uk. The theme is positivity, so help us to spread some positivity through getting creative, this can be anything. Your designs need to be size A6 with a 3mm bleed (110 mm x 154 mm). All artwork should be sent in a JPEG format with a 300DPI resolution and CYMK colour mode. If you’re working by hand, please take a high-quality photograph of your piece or scan it in at 300DPI. Let us know your Insta handle if you'd like it included and we'll credit your design.

Positive Post is all about celebrating student talent and we hope lots of you will get involved. Don’t forget to share your designs on Instagram and tag us @aubsu.
It's all free to take part in - just let us know your details in this form and we'll send you a little something in the post this summer! Everyone who fills in this form will get a positive postcard (featuring AUB student artwork) at least - but we'll also randomly allocate out some care packages too (though we hope to be able to get one to everyone!) :)
Welcome to ‘Creatives for Good’!
We are trialling this new platform to connect students with creative community opportunities and provide some volunteering opportunities that you can do from home. Charities and Not-For-Profits are struggling now more than ever and we want to help!
If you have creative skills, whether they’re in design, art, film, content production or writing, then please help lend a hand to organisations that need your support. We’ll be posting creative opportunities on this page, with contact details for the organisation – anything you’re interested in, volunteer a hand! We are hoping to grow this platform over the next year and reach out to local organisations to collaborate on creative projects but we need your support to do it. Get involved and utilise your creative skills to help others. Let’s make the world a little better, one brushstroke at a time.
