HELLO EVERYONE
It’s crazy to think Freshers is now over! It was a lot of work and very satisfying seeing all of that work from the team coming to fruition. It also means I now have more time to focus on other things in my manifest, which I am so so so excited for!
So far...
FRESHERS
What a crazy time! I planned a lot of stuff for Wellbeing day so I am especially proud of how that went down. It was also a really good learning experience, as there were a few things that had to be changed on the day as it’s a brand new event we haven’t done before.
Dogs on campus and the chill zone were the highlights and I am looking forwards to helping plan next years and reaching more students.
FEEDBACK
We would love your feedback on how Freshers’ week was for you! What went well, what didn’t, and everything in between so we can make next year that much better!
Cost of Living Update:
We are currently taking donations from students and staff in the Students’ Union office, as our Cost of Living Fair is coming up!
On the 11th of November, there will be a huge clothes & materials swap with some external businesses coming in to raise awareness about the impact of the cost of living on students.Â
Green Team Update:
The Green Team is now a Working Group! This means it is entirely reliant on volunteers and I have been working with some students on our first meeting! Sign up to our first meeting here:
More personally...
I LOVE BAKING.
I made a carrot cake for the first time which went so slay! Also my first time eating walnuts which were actually super tasty!
The future...
I am so excited to show everyone all of the hard work Achilles and I have put into making this year the best student experience! Hopefully in my next blog post I will have more to show! 🙂
