HELLO EVERYONE
Since joining the AUBSU in July, I have been busy learning what the previous President of Student Experience did, as well as what my role entails!
So Far...
Rewriting my manifesto:
Making sure my goals are achieveable for this academic year, as well as still aligning with my current values. I want to ensure that the general student opinion is at the heart of my manifesto, and I believe I have achieved that since starting.
Joining the AUBSU team:
It has been so lovely meeting everyone in the office, as well as having Amelia, the previous president of student experience, teaching me everything there is to know about the role.
It was sad to say goodbye to Amelia and Aditi on their last day as Sabbs, but I am looking forwards to bringing my ideas to students and learning first hand from you guys very soon!
Being part of committees:
So far I have sat on the Access and Participation working group, as well as the sexual misconduct working group, which have both been very informative and I am so grateful to be included in these!
I will also be on a few more as the academic year nears.
I GRADUATED YAYYYYY:
I graduated!!! I'm so happy to have made it to graduation and was able to join all of my friends in celebrating such a big moment as a student!
The Future...
Right now, it is all hands on deck to get Freshers ready for you guys! I am so excited to show everyone what we have planned, and how you can all get involved!
